I still feel a little emotional writing this…Wildflower Cake Studio has been named Best Wedding Cake Designer in the South Central 2026 at the TWIA (The Wedding Industry Awards) and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.

This award means so much because it’s built on the experiences of my real couples. The kind words, the trust, the shared moments, they all led here. To be recognised for doing something I truly love, in a way that feels aligned with my values, is incredibly special.

What This Award Means to Me

For me, this isn’t about being the biggest or loudest. It’s about care, connection, and creating something meaningful. Every wedding cake I make is created slowly and intentionally, from the ingredients I choose, to the way each design comes together. Being recognised as a Hampshire wedding cake designer in this way feels like a gentle nod to all the early mornings, careful planning, and heartfelt conversations with couples along the way.

I believe cakes can be both joyful and gentle, designed with purpose, using thoughtful processes wherever possible, and always with respect for the environment we’re celebrating in.

It’s really important to me that everyone feels safe and included when enjoying one of my cakes. I’m a nut free cake designer, and I also work with non GMO cake ingredients so couples can feel reassured about what they’re serving their loved ones.

These choices are never trends for me, they’re simply part of caring well.
